Glass Fibre Knitted Rope
Glass Fibre Knitted Rope is manufactured from fine uniform textile filaments of blown ‘E’ type glass fibre yarns. They differ from other glass fibre ropes in that they are extra soft, thick and pliable with excellent thermal insulation properties. The construction results in a lightweight, resilient product combining maximum durability with the highest possible degree of conformability. It is therefore an ideal sealing material for static applications involving dry heat and particularly suitable when only low flange pressures can be applied.
Knitted fiberglass rope offers the advantages of economy with more consistency and wordability without sacrificing any of the physical, chemical or high temperature charactaristics.
1000。F – available high density or low density.
High Density is more firm, dense material that resembles twisted rope.
Low Density is soft and easily compressible for gasketing, caulking for oven and furnace doors and expansion joints
Applications
Texturized Glass Fibre Knitted Rope with fiberglass core is an excellent substitute for asbestos lagging rope. Glass Fibre Knitted Rope is used as thermal seals and joints on gas fires, ovens, microwave ovens, wood burners, filling of grooves, sealing of oven, furnace or boiler door and other domestic appliances. It can be treated with graphite on request.
